My goal is simple: remove the stress so you can actually enjoy the experience.
Every session with Scranton Portrait Co. is designed to be fully guided and thoughtfully planned. From the beginning, you’re supported through every step:
Hair and makeup options so you don’t have to DIY confidence
Wardrobe guidance and a Client Closet so you’re not second-guessing outfits
Clear direction and posing so you never feel awkward
A calm, unhurried environment where you don’t feel rushed
You don’t need to know how to be photographed.
You don’t need to feel confident walking in.
You just need to show up.
I take care of the rest.
a full service experience
But there was another problem I kept seeing over and over again: photoshoots are stressful.
People worry about what to wear. How to pose. What to do with their hands. Whether they’ll look awkward or uncomfortable.
That’s where my approach shifted.
I don’t believe in forcing moments or chasing perfection.
I believe in presence, intention, and images that feel honest.
Whether I’m photographing a branding session, a boudoir experience, a maternity portrait, or a family moment, the goal is the same: to create images that reflect who you are right now—and feel like something you’ll be glad you did.
Not someday.
Not when life slows down.
Now.
what matters to me
I didn’t start photography because I loved cameras.
I started because I loved what happened when people finally saw themselves differently.
Early on, I noticed something that stuck with me: when someone felt truly seen—comfortable, confident, supported—it changed how they showed up. Not just in photos, but in real life. That became the foundation of my work.
What began as helping people see their best selves grew into something bigger.
I worked with business owners who needed images that actually helped them grow—branding photos that felt aligned, credible, and intentional instead of generic. I worked with women who were navigating change and wanted to reconnect with themselves. I worked with families and mothers who knew how fast life moves and didn’t want to miss documenting it.
Over time, I realized photography isn’t just about images.
It’s about solving problems.
For business owners, that problem is visibility—having photos that match their level and communicate trust before they ever speak.
For women, it’s confidence, self-perception, and permission to exist in front of the camera without judgment.
For families and growing parents, it’s time—capturing a season before it passes.
If you’ve been putting this off because it feels overwhelming, you’re not alone.
